OLD-TIMERS DAY LUNCHEON
IN MEMORY OF Bertha Saladino & AL LOPEZ
Each year the Saladino Tournament hosts a complimentary private old-timers day luncheon for the pioneers of baseball in Hillsborough County - former Major Leaguers, Minor Leaguers, Tampa Smokers, Inter-Social Leaguers, Municipal Leaguers, Negro Leaguers, Orange Belt Leaguers, Metro Leaguers, and Cigar Factory Leaguers - to be special guests for the luncheon, nostalgia, camaraderie and fellowship.
The annual get-together is held on the Wednesday of the Tournament week, at 12:00 under the Hospitality Tent.
The Old-Timers Day Luncheon is by invitation only and has become popular and traditional with Hillsborough County baseball players of yesteryear.
